In the small town of Winnsboro, South Carolina, the evening of May 23, 2024, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 23-year-old Eric Mayben, a male resident. At approximately 11:25 p.m., an unknown individual approached Mayben's home on Comet Drive and opened fire, striking him multiple times. The gunshots pierced the tranquility of the night and brought a tragic end to a young life.
