Death by Force

On the night of May 23, 2024, 23-year-old Eric Maybin was fatally shot at his residence on Comet Drive in Winnsboro, South Carolina. According to the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office, an unidentified individual approached Maybin's home around 11:25 P.M. and fired multiple shots through the front door, striking and killing him. A female occupant in the house at the time hid in a closet during the attack and was unharmed.
