On June 1, 2024, a block party in Rock Hill, South Carolina, turned tragic when gunfire erupted around 10 p.m. on Southland Drive. The shooting resulted in the deaths of 44-year-old Montest Mincey and 21-year-old Maricus Kirk. Two other individuals sustained injuries but survived.
