Death by Force

On July 3, 2024, 33-year-old Lydell Preston Titus was fatally shot in the 700 block of West Evans Street in Florence, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 2 p.m., when an argument between Titus and 46-year-old Dino Piere Scott escalated. According to Florence police, Scott retrieved a handgun during the dispute and shot Titus multiple times. Emergency responders pronounced Titus dead at the scene.
