On September 12, 2023, 36-year-old Bobby Antoine "Tony" McKenzie of New Zion, South Carolina, was found shot in a car in the parking lot of a hotel on Radio Drive in Florence. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
