On July 3, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at the Quality Inn on Paxville Highway near Manning, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Abram Bernardo Walker Jr. Clarendon County deputies responded to a call reporting a shooting at the hotel, which is located just off Interstate 95.
