On July 15, 2024, in Simpsonville, South Carolina, two-year-old Zane Sebastian Burgess tragically died from a gunshot wound to the head. His mother transported him to Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville, where he was pronounced dead at 7:51 p.m.
