In the early evening of Tuesday, January 23, 2018, a young man’s life was cut tragically short in a parking lot in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Collin Starcher, a 21-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. The Greenville County Coroner's Office reported that the fatal shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Shea Starcher of Simpsonville and Mark B. Downs of Greer. He is remembered by his two brothers and one sister. ...
