In the summer of 2024, the life of 16-year-old Jakolbi Kolbi Taylor was tragically cut short on the streets of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The young man, a male visiting from Roanoke, Virginia, was in the popular tourist destination to participate in a national basketball tournament, a sport he was deeply passionate about.
