In the quiet, early morning hours of August 1, 2024, the life of 46-year-old Stephanie Fries was brought to a tragic end in a Shell Point, South Carolina home. Deputies from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence on Shell Point Road just before 6 a.m. following a report of a gunshot wound stemming from a domestic incident. Upon their arrival, they discovered Fries, a resident of Lady's Island, deceased inside the home. The county coroner later determined her time of ...
