On October 4, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Boulder Creek Apartments on Furman Hall Road in Greenville County, South Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies found two men with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where one of the victims, 31-year-old Decorey Lacarl Thomason of Mauldin, succumbed to his injuries from multiple gunshot wounds.
