On February 15, 2023, in Jackson, Mississippi, 34-year-old Joseph Reddix was found deceased inside a white sedan near the intersection of West and Taylor Streets. Capitol police responded to a disturbance call around 12:30 a.m. and discovered Reddix with multiple gunshot wounds.
