Jalin Devanta Austin, a 26-year-old man from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2023, in a shooting incident. The Jackson Police Department responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Raymond Road, where they discovered Austin with multiple gunshot wounds.
