On the evening of Friday, December 29, 2023, the life of Eric 'Spud' Tindell, a 41-year-old White male from Smith County, Mississippi, was tragically cut short in what has been described as a hunting accident. Emergency services received a 911 call around 5:30 PM reporting the incident on Forestry Service Road 516. Upon arrival, first responders discovered that Tindell had suffered a fatal gunshot wound while hunting.
