On March 4, 2024, Siris Queon Samaritan Catchings, a 21-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was fatally shot in front of a relative's home on Barrett Avenue. The incident occurred following an ongoing dispute over Catchings' wife, according to police reports. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Catchings shot to death.
