LaTereance Barnes, 33, a man from Jackson, was found shot to death inside a residence in the 3700 block of Liberty Street late on the morning of October 13, 2025. Responding officers were alerted around 10:30 a.m., and Hinds County Interim Coroner Jeramiah Howard later identified the victim as Barnes.
