A 63-year-old man, Charlie Thomas, was fatally shot on the evening of Saturday, April 13, 2024, at an extended stay hotel in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident occurred in the 5700 block of Interstate 55 North Frontage Road. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Following the incident, the Jackson Police Department launched an investigation. An arrest was made in connection with the deadly shooting, though the identity of the suspect has not been ...
