In Jackson, Mississippi, on Christmas Day in 2008, a family gathering turned tragic, ending the life of 39-year-old Zedrick Maurice Warner Sr. The male victim was attending a celebration at his wife's grandmother's home on Roosevelt Street. Witnesses reported that an argument erupted between Warner and Saheed Davis, who was identified as the boyfriend of Warner's sister-in-law.
