On May 15, 2024, 29-year-old Melvin McNair Jr. was found deceased at Parham Bridges Park in Jackson, Mississippi. A park ranger discovered his body around 6:00 a.m.; he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Later that day, Jackson Police arrested 19-year-old Daveon Lindsey after a brief pursuit. Lindsey was found in possession of McNair's stolen 2016 GMC Sierra pickup truck and admitted to shooting McNair multiple times. The murder weapon, described as a pink assault rifle, was recove ...Read More
