Willie Earl Luckett, a 47-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of July 7, 2024, in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m. outside Club Twilight, a nightclub located in the 3000 block of Livingston Road. Officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the location.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered that Luckett had already been transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center by
