On July 7, 2024, 47-year-old Willie Earl Luckett was fatally shot outside Club Twilight, a nightclub located in the 3000 block of Livingston Road in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m., when Jackson Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they learned that Luckett had been transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
