On March 31, 2023, Andrew "Andy" Gil Jr., a 25-year-old resident of Wyoming, Michigan, was tragically killed in what has been determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred in the driveway of a home where both Gil and his relative, 30-year-old Louis Gonzales, were found with gunshot wounds. Authorities reported that the two were involved in a dispute that escalated to violence, resulting in Gonzales shooting Gil before turning the gun on himself.
