On April 2, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., 24-year-old Isaia Mojica was fatally shot in the 200 block of 44th Street SW in Wyoming, Michigan. Upon arrival, police and fire personnel found Mojica suffering from gunshot wounds; he was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Shortly thereafter, another male victim with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds was dropped off at a hospital; authorities believe he was also injured during the same incident.
