On July 22, 2023, 33-year-old Samantha Jo Houghton of Big Rapids, Michigan, tragically lost her life in a murder-suicide incident. Born on February 23, 1990, to parents Sandra Vernon and Shawn Snyder, Samantha was raised in Morley, Michigan, by her mother Sandy and stepfather Tom.
