Siedah Mickens, a 30-year-old African American woman from Zion, Illinois, tragically lost her life on November 27, 2022, in Waukegan, Illinois. She was discovered on May Street around 1 a.m. after police responded to a call about a shooting. Mickens was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead in the emergency room. An autopsy revealed that she died from multiple gunshot wounds. The police found several shell casings at the scene, indicating a violent encounter.
