On November 13, 2023, 53-year-old Theron Darrell Duncan was fatally shot at the Douglass House Saloon in downtown Houghton, Michigan. Authorities responded to the scene around 7 p.m., discovering Duncan deceased in the men's restroom from an apparent gunshot wound.
