Carlton Coleman, a 26-year-old resident of Clinton Township, Michigan, tragically lost his life on March 31, 2017, following a shootout at the Oxford Square Apartments near 15 Mile Road and Lipke Road. The incident began as an argument between Coleman and another man, reportedly over Coleman smoking marijuana in front of the other man's children. The confrontation quickly escalated, resulting in both men exchanging gunfire. Coleman was struck in the hip and subsequently bled to death.
