In the late autumn of 2018, the life of Marquavius Daquan Sykes, a 21-year-old male from Flint, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On November 12th of that year, Sykes fell victim to gun violence in his hometown. He was a young man who was cherished by his family and friends, known for his love of both old and new school music, and for the joy he found in making people laugh. In his quieter moments, he had begun to explore the Bible and also enjoyed expressing himself through rap.
