Ronnie Amos, aged 42, was fatally shot on June 28, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. He was found with gunshot wounds in the 3600 block of West Chicago Avenue. Authorities responded to the scene around 8:54 a.m. and Amos was subsequently transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:26 a.m. The incident was one of many that occurred during a particularly violent weekend in Chicago, where multiple shooting incidents left several people dead and dozens injured.
