Court Officer Robert J. Silver, age 66, was tragically shot and killed on December 28, 2023, while serving an eviction notice in Clay Township, Michigan. Silver, a dedicated court officer with 35 years of service to the St. Clair County 72nd District Court, was last heard from before setting out to serve the notice at a residence in the 6100 block of Genaw Road.
