On a summer day in Clinton Township, Michigan, the life of 49-year-old Yolanda Cook was tragically cut short. On July 5, 2024, she was fatally shot inside her home on Harper Avenue. In the same violent incident, her 31-year-old son, Arkollin Dleon Cook, was also shot and critically injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and placed on life support, but succumbed to his injuries on July 13, 2024.
