Gary L. Gatewood, a 42-year-old resident of St. Johns, Michigan, tragically lost his life in a hunting accident on September 4, 2024. The incident occurred at Sleepy Hollow State Park, where Gatewood was engaged in goose hunting. According to reports, the accident happened when his rifle misfired, resulting in fatal injuries.
