In the early morning hours of November 14, 2024, a devastating series of events unfolded inside a family home on Jay Street in Midland, Michigan, culminating in the death of 33-year-old Quartez “Tezzy” Green, a Black male. The tragedy began around 6:55 a.m. when his younger brother, 28-year-old Brelawn Evans, reportedly woke up and physically assaulted his 21-year-old sister and then his 51-year-old mother.
