The story of Dequan Javon Fields, a 27-year-old male, concluded in a heartbreaking discovery after he was reported missing on January 12, 2023. Family members grew worried after being unable to contact him, prompting a police investigation. The initial sign of trouble was the discovery of his 2004 gold Dodge Durango, found abandoned and stained with blood at the Deal Island Wildlife Nature Preserve in Somerset County.
