On February 13, 2023, at approximately 1:53 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Indian Head, Maryland, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Xavien Bert Carroll from Nanjemoy. The shooting took place on Shelton Court in Indian Head, where Carroll was one of three victims in a triple shooting.
