In the winter of 2023, the life of 19-year-old Xavien Bert Carroll was cut short in a burst of violence that also claimed the life of another young man and left a third seriously injured. On the afternoon of February 13th, gunshots erupted on Shelton Court in Indian Head, Maryland. Inside a car, Carroll, along with 23-year-old Amonte Martez Green and another 23-year-old male, were struck by gunfire.
