In the early morning hours of Valentine's Day in 2009, tragedy struck in Prince George's County, Maryland. A young man, 19-year-old Marvin Lynn Johnson, was found lying on the sidewalk in front of Meade's Liquor Store on Indian Head Highway. He had been shot multiple times in his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The quiet of the night was shattered by the violence that claimed Johnson's life, leaving a community in shock and a family to grieve an unimaginable loss.
