On September 4, 2017, Robert Tywaughn Branson, aged 39, was tragically shot and killed in Indian Head, Maryland. The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 p.m. when officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting in the 6000 block of Port Tobacco Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Branson and another male victim, Karwin Carroll, suffering from gunshot wounds about 500 yards away from the scene.
