On April 11, 2023, at approximately 1:00 PM, 42-year-old Jawann Adams was fatally shot in a triple shooting incident in the 2700 block of Ashland Avenue in East Baltimore. Upon arrival, officers found Adams suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other victims, aged 52 and 20, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and later sought treatment at a nearby hospital.
