In the late hours of a Monday night in Baltimore, the life of 52-year-old Eric Jennings was tragically cut short. On May 22, 2023, at approximately 11:42 p.m., the sound of gunfire prompted a ShotSpotter alert in the 2300 block of West Franklin Street. Responding officers from the Baltimore Police Department's Western District arrived at the scene to find Jennings, a Black male, suffering from a gunshot wound.
