On June 3, 2023, Jeremy Maldonado, a 27-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was fatally shot during a gathering in the 5900 block of Eastern Avenue. The incident occurred at a house party where tensions escalated. Witnesses reported that Maldonado became highly intoxicated and began to act aggressively, at one point brandishing a firearm and waving it around.
