On June 9, 2023, at approximately 5:45 a.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire in the 2500 block of Lake Drive in Waldorf, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Deangelo C’Quan Beale in the parking lot of an apartment complex, suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
