On November 11, 2008, Daniel Argueta Cordova, a 24-year-old resident of Waldorf, Maryland, was found dead in a parking area behind the Lowe’s Home Improvement store located on Crain Highway. At approximately 8:24 p.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene where they discovered Cordova's unclothed body.
