In the late hours of a November evening in 2008, the body of Daniel Argueta Cordova, a 24-year-old Hispanic male, was discovered in a parking area behind a Lowe's Home Improvement store on Crain Highway in Waldorf, Maryland. At approximately 8:24 p.m. on November 11th, officers from the Charles County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene where they found Cordova's unclothed body, which showed signs of trauma to the upper body.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner would later rule his death a homicide. Cordova was a resident of Waldorf and worked as a cook at a local Outback Steakhouse.
