On June 9, 2023, at approximately 5:45 a.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunshots in the 2500 block of Lake Drive in Waldorf, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Deangelo C’Quan Beale lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
