Deveraun Rawlings, a 35-year-old man from Baltimore, Maryland, died on June 29, 2023, after being shot in the back. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Wilgrey Court, and Rawlings was pronounced dead at 12:11 am.

Further investigation revealed that the shooting actually took place in the 2600 block of Maisel Street, near Florence Cummings Park and Westport. This discrepancy in location information is not uncommon in initial reports of violent incidents.
