In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Forestville, Maryland, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet, leaving a community shaken and a family grieving. On August 13, 2023, at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were dispatched to the 3700 block of Donnell Drive following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Tyrone Thomas of District Heights outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was a Black male. Emergency service ...
