On November 2, 2008, Levar Tyrone Jones, a 29-year-old African American male from Huntingtown, Maryland, was fatally shot in Forestville, Prince George's County. At approximately 1:44 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the 3300 block of Walters Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Jones in a parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
