On August 20, 2023, at approximately 3:05 a.m., Baltimore police officers responded to reports of gunfire and a ShotSpotter alert in the 800 block of Guilford Avenue in the Mount Vernon neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered two victims in the parking lot of Mount Vernon Market Center.
