In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Oxon Hill, Maryland, the lives of two cousins were tragically cut short. On September 10, 2023, 28-year-old Charles Oxley was fatally shot in the 5500 block of Livingston Terrace. When Prince George's County police officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:10 p.m., they discovered a grim scene. Charles Oxley was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the location.
