On November 8, 2023, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Prince George's County Police officers responded to a shooting in the 6300 block of Auth Road in Camp Springs, Maryland. Upon arrival, they found 24-year-old Anthony Day Roberts lying in the roadway with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second adult male victim was also located with a gunshot wound; his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
