On the morning of Thursday, August 29, 2024, 60-year-old Civil Jean Calixte was fatally shot in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide in Rockville, Maryland. The male victim was discovered by Montgomery County Police officers around 7:50 a.m. in the 14900 block of Southlawn Lane, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel who rendered aid, Calixte was transported to a local hospital where he was pronoun ...
