On September 20, 2024, at approximately 1:10 pm, Prince George's County police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Largo Center Drive near Largo Town Center in Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Craig Rogers II of Bowie lying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
