In the early morning hours of April 15, 2023, the life of Alexis Marie Gonzalez Fisher, a 36-year-old Black / African American woman, was tragically cut short in Racine, Wisconsin. Around 5 a.m., police responded to a call about a woman lying in the street and discovered Fisher's body in a roundabout at Spring and State streets. She had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
